Growing is Certain!

A little Swedish Ivy came to my care and was struggling. Over a year I tried my best to nurture it. I changed the soil and moved it around the house to figure where is the best place for it to thrive. It looked so sad. Over seasons no growth was visible. I was nearly given up but somehow observed that each plant has its way to survive the worst.
We moved to a new home, which means a new home for all my plants. This little Swedish Ivy is now in the entryway and is happy. It grows taller and shoots new leaves rapidly.
I feel the same way. My spirit was crushed and I felt I was deprived of growing spiritually over a year. Yet, the Lord has been my faithful Keeper.
Those in Christ are called to grow as we are progressively sanctified. Even when we stumbled, in the lowest of life, or in the seemingly impossible situation, our growth is sure in His grace and mercy. God is in the business of completing what He has started, and I am thankful for this assurance.
My feet are unsteady, yet my path is certain. Growing daily in my Redeemer, Oh what a joy!🌷
